גלמ

The root גלמ appears three times in תנ”ך, twice referring to clothing.

According to Tawil, the word comes from the Akkadian gulenu, which means coat.  In Ezekiel it is used as a noun, in II Kings, as a verb to fold or roll up.

גלם means unfinished or deformed, and in the context in Psalms means an embryo – a body that is yet unformed.
