There are three similar roots, משה – מוש/מיש/מש – משש:

According the אבן-שושן in the Concordance

מוש: 

1. to more or remove (20 times)

2. to touch or lean on (3 times)

משה:

to remove (2 times)

משש:

to touch or grope

similar or identical to the second definition of מוש.  Even-Shoshan includes Gen. 27:21, גשה-נא ואמשך בני under both entries.
